From your kitchen to the van, without you lifting a thing
Appliance removal is all this site does. We collect washing machines, tumble dryers, washer dryers, cookers, ovens, dishwashers, hobs and extractor hoods from homes and businesses across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Two people arrive with a van, carry the appliance out from the kitchen, utility room or garage and load it. You open the door and point.
Each job starts with a photo. Send one and we reply with a fixed price for carrying, loading and disposal. A washing machine with its concrete counterweight, a heavy range cooker or a whole kitchen's worth of white goods after a refit: the price you are sent is the price you pay once it is on the van.
Appliance Removal is an upper tier waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency under licence CBDU526130. Electrical waste goes for recycling, where the steel, copper, plastics and glass are separated, and working machines are passed on for reuse where possible. Have the appliance disconnected before we arrive, and read how to get rid of a washing machine if you are weighing up the options.

No price surprises on the day
The price you are sent from your photo is the price you pay once the appliance is on the van. If anything looks different from the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we lift it.
How you get a price
-
Send a photo
Take a picture of the appliance where it stands and send it to us with a line about where it is. The form on this page sends your details for you.
-
Get a fixed price
We reply by email with one price covering the carrying, the loading and the recycling. Nothing is added on the day.
-
Have it disconnected
Unplug it and turn the water off. Gas cookers need a Gas Safe registered engineer first, and hard-wired cookers an electrician.
-
Pay once it is loaded
Two people carry the appliance out and load it onto the van, then you pay the quoted price. You never have to drag it outside.

Plain answers to the questions people ask before getting rid of an old appliance.
Appliance removal questions answered
How do I get a price for appliance removal?
Send us a photo of the appliance with a note about where it is and which floor it is on. We reply with a fixed price for the whole job, and that is what you pay once it is loaded.
Does the appliance need to be disconnected first?
Yes. Our crew lifts, carries and loads, but does not disconnect anything. Unplug it, turn the water off and take the hoses off, and book a Gas Safe registered engineer for a gas cooker or an electrician for a hard-wired one.
Do I need to get it outside first?
No. Two people come in, carry it out from the kitchen, utility room or wherever it stands, and load it into the van. Upstairs rooms and flats are fine.
Can you collect today?
Often, yes. Same-day or next-day collection is offered wherever possible, and a message early in the morning gives you the best chance of a slot that day.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. We hold upper tier waste carrier licence CBDU526130, registered with the Environment Agency. You can check it on the public register, and we provide a waste transfer note on request.
What happens to my old appliance?
Working machines in good condition are passed on for reuse where possible. The rest goes for recycling at a licensed facility, where the metals, plastics, glass, cables and motors are separated.
Can you take several appliances in one visit?
Yes. Put them all in the photo, or send a picture of each, and one price covers the lot. Kitchen refits and landlords clearing a property often have three or four to go at once.
Why not use the council bulky waste collection?
You can. Councils generally take large appliances, but the collection is booked ahead with a wait and the appliance has to be left outside on the set day. We carry it out for you and aim for same-day or next-day.
Send a photo of your appliance and get a price back
Use the form above, or send the picture to hello@appliance-removal.co.uk. We reply with a fixed price and the earliest slot we have.
